Greene County Stingrays
The Greene County Stingrays are a summer club league based out of Linton, Indiana. We practice at the AM Risher Pool in Humphrey's Park. Practice is Monday-Thursday at 8am & 9:30am. Our season lasts from the beginning of June to mid-July.
The Stingrays have two different opportunities to join.
Swim Team: The swim team is open to any child between the ages of 5-18. In order to be eligible for the swim team, swimmers MUST be comfortable in deep water and swim one length of the pool unassisted (in any manner). Swimmers joining the swim team will learn all competitive strokes during the season. While strongly encouraged, meets (competitions) are not mandatory for swimmers.
Stingray Learn to Swim: (June 16-20) We welcome all levels of swimmers to our week long 1 hour swim camp! Our older Stingrays take over the pool to teach some of their skills to swimmers aged 5-15! The learn to swim camp will teach your swimmer water safety, the basics of swimming, and for those more advanced swimmers, competitive strokes.
First Practice
Our first practice will be on Monday June 9th!
1st Practice (8:00 AM) : Meant for new/novice swimmers. During this practice, we focus more on stroke development.
2nd Practice: Returning/advanced swimmers. The workout practice. During this practice swimmers are pushed a little more with a workout and less instruction.

At the Swimoutlet store, you will find our team suit and "gear". While it is not mandatory to wear a team suit, it is STRONGLY encouraged. Goggles/caps can come from anywhere and be any brand. The products on the team page were chosen due to price and quality. Please choose royal blue for our team suits if it is not already defaulted.
* After our parent meeting, Coach Kyle will upload the roster to our team store. This will allow new team members to enjoy a free Swimoutlet+ membership.
